How it works:

There is a magnetic rotor spinning fast inside a non-metallic drum by a conveyor belt. When the non-ferrous or non-magnetic materials pass over the drum, the magnetic fields create eddy currents in the non-ferrous metal that repel the material away from the conveyor. Other materials drop off at the end of the conveyor and the non-ferrous metals are moving forward for further separation. In short, the rotating magnetic rotor created these eddy currents. This rotation can be either concentric or eccentric.
